STEP 6 - ADDING THE LEFT HAND SIDE PANEL
For this Step you will need:
- LEFT HAND SIDE PANEL
- PLASTIC FEET
- CAMS
- CAM PINS
- CAM LOCKING PIN SCREWS
- WOODEN DOWELS
- HAMMER
- SCREWDRIVER
- RUBBER MALLET
- BASE PANELS AND BENCH TOP
Select the LEFT HAND SIDE PANEL.
Insert all of the hardware i.e. PLASTIC FEET, CAMS, CAM PINS, CAM PIN LOCKING SCREWS and WOODEN DOWELS as described in previous sections.
The centre CAM PINS should be aligned in the vertical position.
And the outside CAM PINS should be aligned in the horizontal position.
With all of the fittings correctly installed, stand the LEFT HAND SIDE PANEL against the BENCHTOP and BASE PANEL. Starting at the bottom, align the WOODEN DOWELS and CAM PINS with the corresponding holes in the BASE PANEL and BENCHTOP.
Using the RUBBER MALLET, knock the bottom section firmly into position in the BASE PANEL checking also that the middle set of hardware is correctly aligning with the holes in the BENCHTOP.
Lock the bottom CAM LOCKING SCREWS firmly in place .
Using the RUBBER MALLET, knock the middle section firmly into the BENCHTOP.
Lock the BENCHTOP CAM LOCKING SCREWS firmly into place.
